Acting Prime Minister JOHN ANDERSON says the

federal government will bear the $800,000 cost of bringing the helitankers GeorgiaPeach and the Incredible Hulk to Australia.

The two Erickson Air-Cranes - the brother and sister of the water bombing chopper Elvis- have been brought from the United States to help battle the bushfires.
