NSW: Man dies in ultralight crash near Newcastle

A man died when his ultralight plane clipped trees and crashed into a creek at Cessnock,
in the New South Wales Hunter Valley yesterday morning.

Police say the man, in his 60s, was approaching the southern-end of Cessnock airport
about 11.10 am (AEST) when the accident occurred.

Police say the pilot was under water for some time.
