Fed: Most troops in place ready for Gulf War

CANBERRA, Feb 21 AAP - Almost all of Australia's 2,000 troops are in place in the PersianGulf preparing for a possible war in Iraq, the Australian Defence Force (ADF) said today.
It includes the largest contingent of RAAF fighters, a squadron of 14 F/A-18 Hornets,to leave Australia since the Korean War half a century ago.
But the ADF won't reveal just where they or any other units are located in the region.
